1. INTRODUCTION NotiVault: Notification Saver (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Our primary goal is to provide a secure tool for you to save and manage your notification history locally on your device.

2. DATA COLLECTION AND USAGE 2.1. Notification Data The App uses the ‘NotificationListenerService’ to read notifications sent to your device by other applications.

   • Scope: The App reads the notification’s title, text, subtext, app name, and timestamp.
   • Storage: All notification data is stored LOCALLY on your device.
   • Encryption: Notification data is stored in an encrypted Room Database using SQLCipher (256-bit AES encryption) to prevent unauthorized access to the database file on your storage.
   • Transmission: We DO NOT upload, transmit, or share your notification data with any external servers or third parties.

2.2. Permissions The App requires the following permissions to function:

• Notification Access (NotificationListenerService): Required to read and save incoming notifications.
• Internet/Network State: Required solely for displaying advertisements via Google AdMob.

1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (ADVERTISING) The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, such as:
   • IP address
   • Device identifiers (Advertising ID)

2. DATA SECURITY We take the security of your data seriously:
   • Local-Only Storage: Since data never leaves your device, the risk of data breaches from external servers is eliminated.
   • SQLCipher Encryption: The local database is encrypted with a unique passphrase managed by Android’s EncryptedSharedPreferences (MasterKey system), ensuring your history is unreadable even if the phone’s storage is accessed.
3. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
   • Automatic Deletion: Users can manually delete individual notifications or clear the entire history at any time within the App settings.
   • Uninstallation: All saved notification data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App from your device.

4. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child is using the app and providing information, please contact us.

5. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
